ACQUION, Inc., a division of Harbinger Corporation, located in Greenville, SC, is on the leading edge of Internet Technology as a provider of Supply Chain Management solutions. We are looking to expand our Information Technology group with highly skilled individuals who desire to play a part in how procurement is done well into the 21st century! Our fast-growing business has created the following opportunities:

Catalog Loading Specialist

The Catalog Loading Specialist will play a pivotal role in the ACQUION strategy to dominate the Supply Chain Management marketplace. He or she will rationalize and load catalog content into the ACQUION catalog databases utilizing many different database and data rationalization tools. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, detail oriented, have strong analysis and design skills and a proficiency in relational database technology. No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn, adapt and work without supervision in a proactive fashion are mandatory. Experience with MS Access, Paradox, Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server or other commercial database products is a plus. Prior procurement/materials management experience is a plus.

Senior Software Developer

The Senior Software Developer will have 1 ½ to 3 years experience in MS Visual C, HTML, CGI scripting and SQL Databases. He will have prior experience in creating dynamic content web applications. Experience in Visual Basic or ActiveX is a plus. The successful Senior Software Developer will have excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) and be able to work well in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

Senior Programmer/Analyst

The Senior Programmer Analyst will have 1 ½ to 3 years experience in PowerBuilder 5.0, including the PFC and SQL Databases. He will have proven experience in analysis and design of Mainframe and Client/Server applications. Experience in the analysis, design and development of Web applications is a plus. He will have excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) and be able to work well in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

Systems Architect

The Systems Architect will meet with clients to gather requirements, create specifications, create developmental project estimates and provide strong technical consultation. The successful Systems Architect will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, great conceptual thinking skills, a strong customer focus and a high degree of skill in problem solving. Position will require up to 30% travel with Customer Solutions team members to client sites.

Project Manager

The Project Manager will manage all aspects of an ACQUION software implementation project, including schedule, resources, budget, and customer communication in order to ensure correct client expectations and client satisfaction. The successful Project Manager will have a minimum of 5 years experience and will have both a strong customer focus and a sound technical background in leading successful software development projects. Excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills and a very tough skin are all qualities necessary to win in the ACQUION environment.

Database Administrator

The Database Administrator will install and tune databases and assist developers in application tuning. They will perform database backup/recovery. They will coordinate and change database models with corresponding data conversion. They will create database triggers and procedures. The successful Database Administrator will have 3-5 years general Information Technology experience and 1-3 years in the Oracle environment as a DBA.

Quality Assurance Analyst

The Quality Assurance Analyst will meet with project teams and gather testing requirements, create written test plans and test procedures, create test automation scripts with automated testing tools and will perform integration testing of Client/Server and Web applications. The successful Quality Assurance Analyst will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a self-starter and very self-confident and assertive.
