He or she will rationalize and load catalog content into the ACQUION catalog databases utilizing many different database and data rationalization tools. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, detail oriented, have strong analysis and design skills and a proficiency in relational database technology. No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn, adapt and work without supervision in a proactive fashion are mandatory. Experience with MS Access, Paradox, Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server or other commercial database products is a plus. The successful Project Manager will have a minimum of 5 years experience and will have both a strong customer focus and a sound technical background in leading successful software development projects. They will perform database backup/recovery. They will coordinate and change database models with corresponding data conversion. They will create database triggers and procedures.
